Hair Metal Mansion Ep. 63 Anthony Bryant
German-American heavy metal pioneers ACCEPT are marking their 50th anniversary in epic fashion. The band has assembled an all-star lineup of guests from some of metal’s biggest names for their ambitious new album, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026.
Set for release on September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records, the album features 19 reimagined versions of ACCEPT classics, performed by a rotating cast of more than 50 guest musicians. Guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the creative force behind the band’s signature sound, leads the project alongside longtime vocalist Mark Tornillo.“This is the perfect way to celebrate 50 years,” said Hoffmann. “Having our peers, friends, and musical inspirations join us to reinterpret these classic songs is an honor. We had a blast making it, and I hope the fans enjoy it as much as we did.”
The record spans material from ACCEPT’s early era through the late ’80s, giving each track a fresh identity through unique combinations of guest vocalists, guitarists, bassists, and drummers. No two songs feature the exact same lineup, ensuring a dynamic and varied listening experience.Standout collaborations include:Tobias Forge (Ghost) on “Save Us” (from 1980’s I’m A Rebel), joined by drummer Ray Luzier.
A high-octane take on the speed metal anthem “Fast As A Shark” (from 1982’s Restless And Wild) featuring Philip Anselmo (Pantera), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), and Mikkey Dee (Scorpions).
Rob Halford (Judas Priest) delivering his powerful vocals on “Balls To The Wall”, supported by guitarist Matthias Jabs (Scorpions).
Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) and David Ellefson (Megadeth) appearing on “Love Child”.
Additional guests include K.K. Downing (Judas Priest), Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (Overkill), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Chris Jericho (Fozzy), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), Ola Englund (The Haunted), and Jeff Loomis (Nevermore). The album closes out with a version of “Hellhammer” (from 1989’s Eat The Heat) performed by ACCEPT’s current core lineup — Wolf Hoffmann, Mark Tornillo, Philip Shouse (guitar), Christopher Williams (drums), and Martin Motnik (bass) — with Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys) on vocals.

Over five decades, ACCEPT have sold millions of records and influenced generations of metal musicians with their high-energy live shows and landmark albums like Balls To The Wall, Restless And Wild, and Metal Heart. After a period of inactivity, Hoffmann teamed up with New Jersey singer Mark Tornillo in 2009, leading to a highly successful reunion and a string of strong new releases.
